The journey of the mankind with SAI’S Touch

Sai Sparsh is a charitable trust that was established in January 2018, and it is registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950 with the registration number E-1189. As a charitable organization, our mission is to make a positive impact on society by undertaking various initiatives and programs that serve the community.

We hold the belief that Sai Baba is present everywhere and possesses all-encompassing knowledge, but as humans, we acknowledge our limitations and imperfections. This is why we have named our organization Sai Sparsh, which symbolizes the ubiquitous presence and influence of Sai Baba. Through this name, we aim to uphold his teachings and values in all our actions, despite our inherent weaknesses as humans.

As a foundation devoted to Sai Baba, we are deeply committed to making a positive impact on the lives of impoverished and needy individuals. At Sai Sparsh Trust, we are dedicated to undertaking various charitable initiatives and programs aimed at improving the well-being of the community. We constantly strive to engage in charitable activities that promote social welfare, alleviate poverty, and provide assistance to those in need.

We engage in various charitable activities that aim to improve the lives of underprivileged individuals and communities. These initiatives include supporting education for children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, providing food to the hungry, implementing health programs in tribal areas, promoting economic empowerment for women, advocating for women’s rights and safety, and implementing projects that create employment opportunities.

Our goal is to support marginalized communities and provide them with the tools and resources they need to lead fulfilling and self-sustaining lives.

As a registered charitable trust, Sai Sparsh has obtained both 12A and 80G certifications, which enables devotees to make tax-deductible donations towards our medical and healthcare programs for fellow devotees in Shirdi. This means that any individual who wishes to contribute to our charitable initiatives can avail of tax benefits by claiming a deduction on their income tax for the amount donated. By making a donation to Sai Sparsh, devotees can support our efforts to improve the health and well-being of our fellow devotees in Shirdi while also receiving tax benefits for their contribution.

why shirdi

Shirdi also known as “Sainagar”

is a town in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
Sai Baba, one of the greatest saints of India, lived in Shirdi for 60 years and elevated it to the status of a great spiritual centre.
Sai Baba was a generous donor and remained a fakir always by giving away all the dakshina to the needy. He led an exemplary life and showed the path of service to humanity. He took care of the sick and the needy, cooked food and served with his own hands to all.
An outstanding aspect of Sai Baba is that, he drew innumerable devotees to him from all over the country, irrespective of their caste or creed. He preached the Universal religion of Love with the mission, “Give Blessings” without discrimination to all.
Sai Baba was a generous donor and remained a fakir always by giving away all the dakshina to the needy. He led an exemplary life and showed the path of service to humanity. He took care of the sick and the needy, cooked food and served with his own hands to all.
I have been able to achieve everything in my life with the blessings and help of Sai. As a homage to Sai, I wanted to do something for him.
And the only way I could think of showing my gratitude towards him was by helping others. By following his saying in Sai Stayacharitra: ‘Manav Seva is Param Seva’ (Serving the mankind is the best service in the universe), I decided to work for the overall upliftment of the poor, underprivileged and deprived people through our services and material support. Since Shirdi is the home of great Saint Sai Baba, I could not think of a better place to start our work for the moral and ethical development of the society at large.

OUR JOURNEY

With the objective to promote Shri Shirdi Sai Baba philosophy and to accordingly support spiritual, cultural and charitable activities, I started searching for volunteer activities.
As a result, I came across Sai Ashraya Orphanage in Shirdi, which is run and managed by Mr. Ganesh Dalvi who has dedicated his life to spread the teachings of love, brotherhood and service to the humanity. Sai Ashraya Orphanage provides regular food, funding access to education, essential medical care and caring homes for orphans.
We believe in collaboration because we know this work is bigger than any one organization. It’s been 5 years now since Sai Sparsh got associated with Sai Ashraya Orphanage network, leading the movement to improve the lives of children, giving them a chance to become self-dependent and earn their livelihood with dignity.
Every child in the world deserves the right to lead a happy, safe and healthy life. We work hard to ensure that the children in our care will grow and develop in their confidence over time and have a chance for a better and brighter future.
Other than working with underprivileged children, our focus is also to empower women and make them self-reliant and independent. The idea of making women independent germinated from the observation that most women belonging to the lower-income group in Shirdi are dependent on their husbands. We wish to empower them by providing certified skill development courses with placements/job opportunities.
We ensure the solutions we provide our orphans and women are sustainable.
